Energy Efficiency Romania - Market analysis

On assignment from AF Gruppen, RettØst analyzed the possibilities of exporting Norwegian concepts of energy efficiency to the Romanian market. The assignment contained an analysis of the energy market and its main players, an overview of the regulatory and energy-political framework and a partner search and overview of potential acquisition objects (2009).

Waste management and bio energy Azerbaijan - Feasibility study and project development

In cooperation with the Norwegian Association on Municipalities and Lindum Ressurs og Gjenvinning AS RettØst made an assessment of the possibilities for exploiting Norwegian competence in the field of waste management and generation of bio energy in local waste handling in Azerbaijan; including desk study, site visits and meetings with Azerbaijani government officials and potential partners.  The project was funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and RettØst was the functioning project leader (2009)

Wind energy  Romania – project- and partner identification:

On assignment from Vardar, RettØst carried out a screening of the wind energy market in Romania. The assignment included identifying potential investment projects, providing contact to large energy producers and authorities, developing an overview of national incentives and analyzing possibilities for funding (2008/2009).

Hydro energy Romania - Export of technology and knowhow

On assignment from Rainpower, RettØst identified clients for purchase of equipment and services within the field of hydro energy in Romania (2008).

Bio-fuel Romania - Project identification

On assignment from Glitnir, RettØst analyzed potential investment projects in Romania. Included evaluation of economic and political viability: business plan, budget, project management, contracts and licenses (2008).

Waste management Romania – Partner identification and project development:

On assignment from the Norwegian Association on Municipalities RettØst carried out partner search and developed a project structure in the field of municipal waste management in two cities in Romania.  The assignment included identification of partners and cities, development of implementation plans and budgets and application for funding (2008).

Bio-fuel Hungary – Assessment of possibilities for Norwegian investments in bio-fuel production in Hungary:

On assignment from Kaupthing, RettØst carried of an evaluation of economic viability in bio-fuel projects in Hungary.

Evaluation of potential for pellets production in Slovakia:

On assignment from Hafslund, RettØst evaluated the possibility for acquisition of Slovakian production of pellets to be exploited in Norwegian co-generation project.

Small hydro and trading of energy Romania - Analysis of energy market and investment possibilities:

On assignment from Technor Energy (Troms Kraft), RettØst carried out and analysis of the energy market, key players, regulatory framework, privatization process and acquisition possibilities within the field of hydro energy.  Included indentifying partners, building network to relevant authorities and analyzing funding possibilities. 


Technology transfer and sustainable production:

Pilot for innovative telemedicine services - Feasibility study and project development:

On assignment from Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine RettØst carried out an assessment of the possibilities of developing a pilot for telemedicine services in a local community in Romania within the field of cardiology and dermatology (2007/2008)

Pilot for sustainable agricultural production in Romania:

On assignment from AgriRomania, RettØst developed project framework, implementation plan and budget for a pilot designed to improve competitiveness and quality in small scale Romanian agricultural production. The assignment included feasibility study, field visits, negotiations with authorities and application for funding (2007-2009).

Component production in Romania - Project development and funding application:

On assignment from the MoMek Group, RettØst developed project description, implementation plan and application for funding. The project was carried out in cooperation with Teknologisk Institutt (2007).
